Update - 27 May 2009

Glenn has battled diarrhea and vomiting for the last 2 weeks but is now in good shape. Race is Friday the 29th and there has been close to 5m of snow over the last two days .

Glenn is in great spirits, with fantastic people and it is an amazing place. Will update again on the 30th May post race.. He is really looking forward to the day and the challenge.

Today Glenn participated in the highest backyard cricket game in the world 5500m ... Pictures and video to come...

  1. Dear Glenn,

We have looked at your blog and we have seen the postcard you sent to the girls. They showed us a map of Mt Everest and we looked on google earth to see where you have been.

We also saw you in the newspaper.

Are you having a nice trip?
How many people are your versing in the marathon?
How long do you think it will take to get to the finish line?
Are you having fun at base camp?

We hope that you win the race. Good luck!!

  3. Hi Glenn.

You always seem to have bad luck before something important, but at least you can handle it and get on with the job. Id wish you luck but you don't need it. Yeah maybe I am being a bit nice but I think I may need a job when you get back ;)

Keep it up and see you when your back!
